Click the profile icon at the top right of this page and login using your email address. Once logged in you will be able to see all donations that used that email address. We use Stripe as our payment processor and do not store credit card information for security and privacy reasons. This means that donations can only be searched using email. If you are unsure of the email you used when donating please check your own inbox as receipts should be emailed out for each donation and found there. Finally if you donated to us through a third party site such as LaunchGood please contact them for donation receipts.
We were founded in 2014 with the mission to be the most efficient charity we could be. We did this by focusing our first years on the purchase of rice fields and construction of low-income apartments. While these help directly in our mission of feeding and housing people, they also provide the actual monthly cash income we need for any administrative or operational costs we have such as hosting for this website.
Any excess funds generated by our Waqf beyond operational needs goes directly towards expanding our mission to help as many orphans as possible in Indonesia. Donating to our waqf, even once, provides recurring income so that a hundred given today would provide thousands over time for this great mission. While we encourage people to give directly to our waqf this also means that donations intended for Orphan Relief (especially for zakat, fidya, or kifaya) never go towards anything except actual food in mouths.
The us-Sunnah Foundation is a registered 501c3 (United States) and works directly on the ground with Yayasan us-Sunnah (Indonesia). While we cooperate with partners and do work throughout Southeast Asia such as our Rohingya refugee work, our main work and base of operations is in Tangerang, Indonesia. Tangerang is a region of the Jakarta urban area which is the second largest city in the world directly after Tokyo, Japan.
